Love Your Neighbours As Yourself

Wait! Is this another website that promotes Christianity, or one that attempts to empty your pockets? Friends, I am here just to promote awareness of health. I have benefited from this health education, so I feel that now it is time for me to share it with you. It's not just about yourself. It's about showing a little care and concern to the people we loved: our parents, our friends, our colleagues, our church friends, our neighbours or even the auntie that cleans our footstep. I want you to to learn the importance of health, increase awareness of any signs of health deterioration in ourselves and the people we know, and know what we can do about it. Let me tell you what I did. When I get to know the truth about my health, I realise that the journey of a healthy lifestyle should start while I am still young. Many dieases and sickness appear when we get older because of negligence at a younger age. As for my parents, I realise that they are constantly having shoulder aches, rheumatism and falling sick all the time. Yet I cannot do anything about it as I am not a doctor. However, as an educated person and an educator, I understand that science is the key to longevity and good health. Please read the other posts to find out more about what I know.

Carotenoids

Carotenoids are antioxidants with many physiological functions. They are efficient free-radical scavengers, and they enhance the human immune system.

An Indication of Strength

Animals are incapable of synthesizing carotenoids, and must obtain them through their diet, yet they are common and often in ornamental features. For example, the pink colour of flamingos and salmon, and the red colouring of lobsters are due to carotenoids. It has been proposed that carotenoids are used in ornamental traits because, given their physiological and chemical properties, they can be used as honest indicators of individual health, and hence they can be used by animals when selecting potential mates.

Gac Crazy For g3

If you are looking for antioxidant protection in liquid form, you can try g3. This tangy superfruit blend combines four of the planet's most phytonutrient-rich fruits. A global research and development team investigated various fruits and discovered the work of Professor Le Thuy-Vuong from the University of California, Davis. Prof. Vuong discussed the properties of an exotic fruit known as gac from her natice Vietnam. She explained that mothers in Southeast Asia traditionally gave the pulp of the fruit to their children to help them grow strong and healthy and to support good vision. Not surprisingly, scientific studies confirm that the orangey-red gac fruit has exceptionally high levels of carotenoid antioxidants. Intrigued by the fruit, the team went on to find other fruits with outstanding nutritional properties that might be combined with gac to augment its health benefits. The team returned three super-fruit stars. The first was Chinese lycium fruit, or wolfberry, a small, red berry with exceptional antioxidant content. The next was Siberian pineapple, an orange/yelloe berry used by Russian cosmonauts to protect them from solar radiation. The third was cili, a wild fruit from the mountains of China that contains 60 times more vitamin C than an orange ounce for ounce. Combining these super fruits, a delicious fruit cocktail, g3, is created! Keeping your antioxidant levels high is a powerful step we can take to protect our health. A high phytonutrient intake from a diet rich in fruits and vegetables has been linked with a decreased risk for many of our major health threats.

Measure Your Success - In Health

While bodybuilders compare fat percentages, you can now challenge your friends to a new measurement parameter. The Skin Carotenoid Score, or SCS, is an indicator of your body's overall antioxidant status. Antioxidants are important because they help protect your cells against oxidative stress, premature aging and diease. Thanks to a cutting-edge instrument known as the Biophotonic Scanner, you can calculate your Skin Carotenoid Scores anytime you want. The scanning process is quick, easy and painless. You simply place the palm of your hand in front of the shoebox-sized machine, and within minutes your score is revealed. Like a sort of lie detector test for how many fruits and vegetables a person actually eats each day and how effectively their nutrional supplements are making a difference in their bodies, the scanner gives you instant feedback on your antioxidant status. More importantly, it allows you, after just a matter of weeks, to see improvements in your antioxidant levels that come from taking supplements.
